christmas bauble | national glass centre

This past Sunday, I spent the morning at the National Glass Centre making a little hand blown glass Christmas Bauble.  I had never been to Sunderland, but this was a good  morning out. Not to mention on the walk to the centre I saw the oldest, and first, known monastery in England. I cannot forget to mention that you can walk on the roof of the National Glass Centre. Just a wonderful experience.

I want to give thanks to Peg from A Kilt and a Camera. It's thanks to her that I can share some great little pictures about what we did. I seriously, cannot wait to see my finished bauble! It'll be so sweet!

Practising the technique.

Hot bubbled glass rolling in the colours.
Independence!
Resting in between the blowing.

Tapering. A bauble is formed!

Sealing & adding the top "hook hole".

Not Peg, but Michelle, another expat, like me!
