imagine.

Last year, for our honeymoon, John & I visited the Warner Brothers Studio. I never imagined how much that visit would change my life.

I have always loved watching films. Films from the 1930s to today, I love watching them all. The funny thing is I never really thought about them, I just enjoyed them. It wasn't until we were touring around the WB Studios, listening to our guide talk about how "Casablanca", "A Streetcar Named Desire", and "The Goonies" were all filmed there, that I found myself as "that tourist". You know, the one who gets excited about everything. Yep, that was me! But, it wasn't just the fact that these films were all filmed there, but that in these studios magic was created! Yes, magic.

In a theatre, the audience gets a 180 experience. Sometimes more. Like Phantom of the Opera and the chandelier. Yes it's live, which is what makes the theatre SO wonderful! But in film, it's 360! This entire space where anything can happen. And then in an editing room it could be transformed into even more wonder. Visiting the WB Studios made me fall in love with film, and theatre, even more. Which brings me to this quote:

Everything you can imagine is real.

I like to think of it as, "Everything you can imagine, is real." For me, it's about a creative space. That all that exists in my mind, in my head, in my imagination is real. It exists because I can envision it. I can see it. I continue to be dumbfounded by my mind. I will have to share the fabulous work of a vision board. Phenomenal.

Thank you Pablo Picasso

Happy 1st day of May to you all!
